Taste: A beautifully crafted dry white wine with a creamy, generous texture and refreshing acidity. The palate offers notes of stone fruit, honey, and subtle minerality, drawn from the clay-limestone soils of Brézsème. Regular lees stirring adds depth and a harmonious, long finish. A fine example of white Rhône Valley wine with both character and finesse.
Pairing: Ideal with grilled seafood, roast chicken, or creamy cheeses. Also pairs wonderfully with vegetarian dishes, risottos, and Mediterranean flavours. A versatile wine that enhances both everyday meals and special occasions.
At Famille Perrin, our passion for wine is rooted in tradition, authenticity, and a deep respect for the land. Since 2017, we’ve had the pleasure of cultivating Domaine de Bréseyme, a remarkable vineyard nestled in one of the Rhône Valley’s best-kept secrets - the Brézème appellation.
Tucked away where the Drôme and Rhône rivers meet, Brézème lies halfway between the Northern and Southern Rhône, with a unique terroir that brings out something truly special in our wines. Our south-facing slopes, reaching up to Mont Rôti at 256 metres, are rich in clay-limestone soils and cooled by the Mistral winds. Here, on just half a hectare dedicated to white grapes, we grow Viognier and Roussanne using traditional, sustainable methods that protect the vineyard’s natural balance and enhance its expressive character.
Our Domaine de Bréseyme Blanc is a beautiful expression of this place. Pressed together and fermented at low temperatures, the Viognier and Roussanne deliver a wine that’s both rich and elegant, with a creamy texture and a freshness we’re particularly proud of. You’ll find aromas of apricot, pear, and delicate white flowers, with exotic fruit and just a whisper of honey and spice. On the palate, it’s generous yet refined - dry, perfectly balanced, and full of charm, finishing with grace and length.
This wine is a perfect match for grilled seafood, roast chicken, and soft cheeses, though we also love it with seasonal vegetables and Mediterranean dishes. It’s a wine that speaks of place, of heritage, and of the meticulous care we put into every step, from vine to bottle.
We’ve always believed that great wines begin in the vineyard, and our work at Domaine de Bréseyme is a continuation of that belief. With the same philosophy we apply across our Southern Rhône estates, we seek to bring out the authenticity and character of Brézème, a hidden gem with centuries of winemaking history, now finding new life through our family’s hands.
