Côtes du Rhône

The AOC Côtes-du-Rhône is the regional appellation that, since 1937, has defined the wines produced throughout the Rhône Valley. Since then, numerous local and communal AOCs have been added to distinguish specific terroirs or production characteristics. It covers 6 départements (Ardèche, Drôme, Gard, Loire, Rhône and Vaucluse), with the bulk of production coming from the southern vineyards. Grenache dominates the vineyards for reds and rosés, with Syrah also very present in the southern part of the region. Numerous complementary grape varieties (Cinsault, Carignan, Counoise, Muscardin, Vaccarèse, Terret, etc.) complete the blends. The Perrin family produces Famille Perrin Réserve (red, white and rosé) and Famille Perrin Nature (red).
