Châteauneuf du Pape
AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the crown jewel of the Southern Rhône Valley’s wine heritage and one of France’s finest crus. In the 14th century, Pope John XXII established a fortress in Châteauneuf and developed the renowned vineyard, continuing the great papal tradition of the City of the Popes in Avignon. The resulting red wines are highly complex, powerful, full-bodied, and well-balanced, while the white wines are rich and aromatic. The Perrin family produces the esteemed "Château de Beaucastel" (both white and red), as well as the exceptional "Hommage à Jacques Perrin" for select vintages. Other notable AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape offerings include "Les Chapouins," "Coudoulet de Beaucastel" (white and red), and "Les Sinards" (white and red).
