The Region
Located in the heart of the Southern Rhône Valley, Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of the most celebrated wine regions in the world. The terroir here is shaped by the perfect harmony of alpine diluvium deposits, pebbles, and clay, offering a unique and dynamic environment for our vines to thrive. With a mild winter, a dry spring, and a hot summer, the 2023 vintage benefited from ideal climatic conditions that allowed our grapes to ripen to perfection, delivering wines of great balance and freshness. The region’s sunny, dry climate ensures the fruit reaches an optimal level of ripeness, contributing to the rich, concentrated flavours that are characteristic of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The Winery
At Famille Perrin, we manage the Les Sinards vineyards with the same commitment to tradition and excellence that has defined our winemaking for generations. The Les Sinards Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2023 is crafted from parcels in our Clos de Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where we tend to just over two hectares of vineyards, comprising one hectare each of white Grenache and Clairette, next to one of the plots used for our renowned Les Sinards Rouge. These vineyards are carefully managed to ensure the highest quality grapes, and each step of the process, from harvest to fermentation, is done with the utmost care and precision.
