Where Rhône Heritage Meets Paso Robles Terroir.

Tablas Creek Vineyard was born from a unique transatlantic friendship: the historic Rhône-estate family behind Château de Beaucastel joined forces with the Haas family of Vineyard Brands to plant a Rhône-inspired estate in Paso Robles, California, a region whose soils, climate and limestone-rich hills echo the terroir of south-east France. Founded in 1989, Tablas Creek grafted French Rhône varietals direct from Beaucastel, built its own nursery, and created an estate vineyard from scratch. From the start they chose organic cultivation (certified in 2003) and later embraced biodynamic and regenerative-organic practices, becoming the world’s first vineyard awarded the Regenerative Organic Certified® status.
