Vacqueyras

This vineyard is primarily situated on the slopes of the renowned Dentelles de Montmirail massif and along the terraces of the Ouvèze River. The soil is notably diverse, consisting mainly of clay, sand, pebbles, limestone scree, and red limestone. The red and rosé wines are predominantly made from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault, while the whites are crafted from Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, and Roussanne. Vacqueyras red wines are full-bodied, rich, and rounded on the palate, featuring notes of red fruit, violets, liquorice, and earthy undertones. These wines are well-balanced and refined, best enjoyed after 2 to 3 years of aging.
